  • Institute classes are held on-site at Northwest Alpacas. Recently, the ranch opened its new 1,000 square foot educational center. This new state-of-the-art lecture space makes learning easy and dynamic. And the alpacas are right outside, allowing for frequent hands-on sessions.

The Institute offers comfortable class-size. There are group sessions of 20 to 30 for larger lectures and more intimate one-on-one sessions for special topics. It’s a great way to learn the business!

Institute instructors Mike Safley and Fred Kraft invite you to experience the power of knowledge at the new Alpaca Institute @ NWA. In addition to the regular staff at the institute, frequent guest lectures help to bring fresh ideas from around the alpaca world. Recent guest speakers include Don Julio Barreda, of Peru, and Cameron Holt, of Australia.
